
This photo isn’t mine. It’s from this Dad seen here hunched lovingly over his three-year-old son, Mark.
Mark was born with end-stage biliary atresia, and “LOVE” was what propelled father Dennis Salazar to raise money—selling shirts, conducting cell phone raffles, asking people’s help—for his liver transplant in Taiwan.
“LOVE” is the reason why mom Maritess Balmes Salazar will donate part of her liver to her son.
Can there be any purer love than to wish to extend this child’s life?
